Sharp hood character lines that extend to the front bumper, large headlamps with multi-focus reflector lenses and round fog lamps rimmed in the Gentra’s body color complete the striking front view. A newly designed full-face audio system perfectly blends in with the center fascia, adding a refined touch to the interior.

The 1.5-liter E-TEC II engine in the Gentra is tuned to generate maximum torque of 13.4 kg•m at a moderate 3,000 rpm. Combined with fuel efficiency of 15.2 km/ℓ, the Gentra is very economical and ideal for city driving.

A 32-bit engine control module (ECM) is very efficient, and 5 speed manual transmission contribute further to the powertrain’s optimal performance. The extensive application of measures to reduce noise, vibration and harshness makes driving the Gentra at high speeds a pleasure. For enhanced side protection, the B-pillar is made of three steel plates of different thickness.
